I've been seeing Dr. Gurley for years and I have always had wonderful experiences. He is always prompt with appointments and flexible when you are in need. His staff is amazing. His office environment is posh and comfortable and never stuffy. I am lucky to have him as my doctor and to have a friend who cares enough about my health to recommend his services.
He seems to be up to date on his medical practice. He spends time to explain things and is very personable. I am glad that my friends told me about him. Great choice!
I have been going to Dr. Gurley for a number of years now and have always had a great experience. He is always up-to-date with health info and has a great bedside manner. I have recommended him to several of my friends and co-workers and they have all had equally great experiences.
Very dissatisfied overall after 3 years of care, I am now moving to a new Primary care Physician after their continual and ongoing issues and refusal to provide me with what I need, versus what they want to bill my insurance company for. Clearly their interest lie in prescribing what will yield them the best income regardless of what is best for me, including unnecessary procedures purely for billing purposes.

We hold ourselves to the highest medical and ethical standards and make decisions on what is best for our patients.
I honestly never write reviews but I will inform you that the office staff, billing manager/supervisor, are the worst people at communicating any type of billing issue you may have. I had a past due balance I wanted to pay off. I called Dr. Gurley's office to pay this balance and was told that I had to pay through a collection agency. I paid through the collection agency and was told my balance had been paid in full. I then proceeded to schedule a physical, which I scheduled a month in advance. I have been a patient at Dr. Gurleys office for several years. Today I showed up at my scheduled appointment to find out that my procedure had not been pre-authorized with the insurance company by the Doctors office. After taking a day off work for this procedure I asked to speak to Dr. Gurley (since pre-authorizations have been an issue in the past). I was a patient of Dr. Gurley's for many years, I decided to leave once I was confronted very rudely by one of his staff in the office. I tried to contact him to talk about the situation and NEVER got a call back. Well about 3 years later I decided to give them a call to see if I can see the doctor and was advised they were seeing new patients which I would be since it was so long since I had been to see him. Poor and unethical billing practices. I questioned certain charges and Justin (apparently a third party billing agent)sent me multiple revised/adjusted/corrected invoices - none of which ever seemed correct, and I finally gave in and paid an amount that he stated was approved by Dr. Gurley. Very poor bedside manner at best. Not remotely personable at all. I interviewed Dr. Gurley 30 days ago, and saw him for maybe 5 minutes. His PA, Forrest, was immature and quite arrogant. But my nurse, Alan, was outstanding, and I can't say enough about his professionalism and comforting nature on each visit. Regretably the ladies at the front desk were very, very weak on my first visit, and again this week, when I went for a physical. Weak phone manner, too. And Dr. Gurley got worse.
