I have never been treated as poorly by anyone in customer service as I have with Talison Row. I have had several emergency situations where I was not called back for days. When I did receive a response, it was always very rude and patronizing. The complex is nice overall when they are taking care of it, which is really only during the peak renting season. Management has changed 3 times in the 2 years I have been here. Unfortunately they lost a star employee (Quinn K.) and replaced them with people who seem to hate their job... read more
I lived here since 3/2019. I transferred to a new apt in 2020 due to upstairs neighbor dog noise. Upon move in to my new apt, the difference between a move-in fee and non refundable security deposit (that I had in my last apt at this complex) was not clearly stated as it was a "new option". Meaning that I paid a $250 non refundable move in fee that didn't count as a security deposit and at the end of my lease was charged another $55 for a professional carpet cleaning. We were misled the entire step of the way. Final straw was when we talked to the leasing agent about where we wanted our covered parking spot in the garage and she said no problem Once we signed the contract, we asked about our parking spot and she told us our That our particular floor plan didn't come with a covered parking spot. Lies, lies, lies. There are a lot better options on Daniel Island
DO NOT MOVE HERE! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY! I moved out in November, so this isn't just a heat of the moment review, this is something I've been thinking about for a while. I give Talison Row 1 star for robbing me of my security deposit. They charged me $940 to redo all of the flooring for an apartment that I cleaned religiously. And I only lived there for 7 months. If you need to terminate early they want 4 months of rent, 2 months notice plus an additional 2 months of the lease paid in full within 2 weeks of the notice. So the property is double dipping and collecting rent from the previous tenant and the new tenant for 2 months. I've had properties in the past that would release you from a lease early if they could rent the unit but no negotiating here. I want you to know this before you decide to rent on Tallisonrow... after 3 years of renting here the same apt...MY CAR WAS TOWED OUT OF THE SAME SPACE I HAVE PARKED IN FOR MY ENTIRE STAY... After a early morning biopsy at Roper Hospital.. I forgot to put my paid parking pass on the dash.. Thumbs down all the way. I would strongly discourage renting here. As a business professional, I was looking for something fairly nice for my family and I that we could call home while our house was being built. The apartments are brand new and didn't think there would be any problems with a "new construction" apartment. In the short 6 months I leased here, my apartment flooded 3 times. Don't be fooled by the nice looks of the community! We made that mistake and have regretted it since moving in. The buildings are so poorly built that you can hear everything that goes on in the unit above/beside you (toilets flushing, cabinet doors closing, garbage disposal, etc). I've stayed in hotels quieter than these buildings! The community manager doesn't take any of the concerns seriously let alone return emails or calls which is frustrating so it does no good to voice your concerns.
