I've been waiting for my case manager (***********************) with Taxrise and have not heard from her. Now I'm being told that my case was closed due to not responding back. Now they say I have to pay another $1,000.00 to reopen my case. I have paid a lot of money and now the supervisor is not responding. This is a rip off and out of a lot of money that I have already paid out of pocket. When trying to contact again, the recording says press 1 for a call back or press 2 to leave a message. This company is a scam, and a money grab company. They have you pay them ****** up front for absolutely nothing!they then feed you a bunch of lies. They then tell you they can help you get a compromise from IRS, and tell you to start paying them approximately ******* before they get you a compromise dollar amount from IRS. Big scam, and money grab. I told them that I have already paid them ******, and I am not paying another dime until I get my compromise from IRS. This company is a complete scam taking full advantage of vulnerable individuals impacted negatively by the covid19 pandemic. When the pandemic hit, I lost my job and as a result had a large amount of debt accruing and inability to pay down my debts and taxes. Tax Rise posted an ad on instagram making a strong case for their ability to negotiate and bring down and even eliminate taxes owed for people like myself that were impacted negatively by uncontrollable events like Covid19 and offered a free 15 minute consultation. Worst company ever! If I could give 0 STARS I would! After paying them an entire year, my issue with the *** have never been resolved. When I call Taxrise to speak with my case manager, she stated I have to wait 10 years for my issue to resolve with the ***. She also stated that in the mean time, I have to let *** take all my money each year after expecting my refund. Predatory loan taken out to pay Tax Rise for services. I realize that this was a predatory loan and requested that I no longer required their services. No services were completed on my behalf. I requested that the loan be refunded back to the loan company. Nothing was ever done by Tax Rise. Im now in default of the loan that I cannot afford. I would help in getting the money refunded back to the loan company.

After several years of sending them paperwork and several Thousand Dollors I still have to cash in my *** and sell my Handicapped Van to pay the **** I can not say anything good about this company. Do not use Tax Rise.******************

I contacted Taxrise back I 2020 in regards to back taxes owed over $50,000 in hopes of at least getting debt negotiated to an amount I could afford to pay on a monthly basis. Not only did I come out of this situation worst, but taxrise charged me $12,0000 for their services. This is not right and I failed to see how they can advertise a fresh start program when this kind of stuff is happening..I'm pretty upset about my results and looking at a big monthly payment thar I don't know now how I'm going to make it..**** J

I hired Tax Rise over a year ago. I paid a little over $3k for them to help me negotiate with the *** and file my late taxes. It has taken me so long to get anyone to respond. I would call J who was the first person they gave me and weeks later I would finally get a call back. Usually, the response was....it is still being processed. Then I would call and threaten to call the BBB and I would receive a call back. Tax Rise reached out to me in 2019 to help with my tax issues from 2016 to 2018. I paid them for the tax investigation which cost $500 and $5,370 for Resolution towards State and Federal. Since 2019, the only effort that has been made is my Case Manager responding back to emails asking for the same thing over and over again. The *** now has my account in collections and a lien. My case manager told me "Tax Professionals" are trying to contact the state again on February 4th. I called the *** today and their collections *****... read more
