You would be doing yourself a disservice if you skipped over this restaurant based on its strip mall location in Brookhaven. Once you walk in, you will be instantly surprised by the interior decor and charm of the establishment. The open kitchen in the center wets your appetite for a menu that bridges the gap between the pretentious and home cooking. Be sure to make your way to the covered back patio that includes an enchanting waterfall for a dining event you will not regret.
The outdoor patio is delightful. Very good salads at lunch. I especially like the muscles. Not enough spinach dip for all the toast points. Always good service.
This is not a spot that you stumble upon, as it's located in a strip shopping center (across from the Brookhaven Marta station) that's seen better days. But Terra Terroir seems always to be nicely crowded, especially on its lovely patio. The restaurant has put $$ into enhancing that space, which has paid off, as it's really a destination spot, at least for my husband and me. A good wine list with ample choices, a creative menu, good service by a knowledgeable staff, a good "local" place
My wife and I are new to the area and found this on open table. Like other comments have noted, the facade can be misleading but the inside is great. We were not able to sit outside but took a peek and it looked like a nice setting and not what you expect when you pull into the parking lot. The waiter was quite knowledgable about the wines and was not pushy about certain ones like what happens often at most wine bars. Food was pretty good and we will definitely be going back.
Everything was great except I think I left my MasterCard with the bill.
We have been dining at Terra for years and have never been disappointed. The food and atmosphere are great.
Terra Terroir truly defines Neighborhood Gem. Don't be fooled by the modest looking exterior next door to a Rite-Aid. Once you pass through the portal you are in another world. We have become semi-regulars here since we always have a good experience. They have created a grotto-like patio in the back that is delightful.
