No-go for us. While Terra Terroir carries a fine-dining price point, the quality of food, service, and atmosphere fell well short of expectations. Some describe this place as charming, but we felt the opposite; the interiors seem tired and could use some polish and updates, and most table florals were wilted. The garden area has potential, but the mix of faux plants, dated light fixtures, and inexpensive tables gives it a less refined vibe. Menu-wise, prices don’t align with plating, flavor, or overall experience. Even the w... read more
Disappointing due to: 1) waiting 25 minutes for a drink to be delivered when the restaurant was not busy 2) having the salad course and the entree be delivered to the table at the same time 3) the server partially spilling a drink on one of us and the booth seat and being totally oblivious about it 4) the server’s midriff being exposed (not what was expected at this caliber of restaurant 5) $39 for only 3 scallops Made for a very disappointing birthday dinner
Used to be a great restaurant. The menu has changed and all three of us were not impressed or even interested in anything on the menu. Ingredients were also seemed cheapened. I used to love going to Terra Terroir but never again.
Went for a business paid lunch and everything was great, except it appears we were charged $11 each for the 4 orders of Cheesecake when the menu reflected $8 each.
Went for lunch with friends. The last few times here we have been underwhelmed by the service and the food. Fortunately we were not in a rush for this meal. We started with a drink order that took close to 20 minutes to arrive. Then had to be corrected. One entree was unavailable. Orders came out and were fine but unremarkable. Server was fine but the overall quality seems to be suffering. One positive, they continue to have a strong wine list at reasonable prices.
We went there for a birthday celebration. Had put that in the reservation so that there would be some sort of dessert to celebrate. Service was slow. No birthday acknowledgement. Wouldn’t go back for a special occasion. Had heard about how great the restaurant was and had planned for years to go. Was a bit of a disappointment. My scallops were great but the surrounding peas and carrots were lukewarm. Didn’t live up to the hype.
The food was mediocre at best, extremely overpriced, and bland. I had a reservation and was sat 15 minutes late, didn’t get appetizers for over 30 minutes, and another 30 minutes to get our entrees. A single piece of unseasoned salmon with mushrooms and rice was $35. This was undoubtedly the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had for the money. The only good things were the ambiance, and our waitress (who was new). This place is a waste of money.
Normally we have great experience but this time a panel fell from the ceiling onto my friend’s head. Could have been a lot worse than it was. Scared us all to death. Also our order was messed up and half of us had to wait for a while for our food.
Always enjoy our visits here. Terra is a great place. Would normally rate a straight five star…..but, this time the service was lacking. We sat at the bar while waiting for our reservation. There were four bartenders for this small bar. Just seemed unorganized. Almost disinterested. We were shown to our table. Chris, our server, seemed uncomfortable. Definitely an order taker, not the amicable, helpful server we normally have. We ordered an appetizer….never showed up. We had to point out every time we wanted another cocktail... read more
