We turned up early ie prior to our booked time, but the waitress was ok to see us as they close between 3-5.30any pm and we had originally booked the table for 3pm by top table. The restaurant was fairly busy considering it was lunch time. We were not impressed by the service but the food made up for it. Also there was not any options for vegetarians on the lunch time deal £12 each so we had to choose from a la carte. We are repeat customers and we will try again later next year as food
I have been to the Thai Square chain several times before and enjoyed it but for me, while the service was good at the Covent Garden branch, the food and atmosphere were a bit hit and miss. The food was OK but nothing special and the restaurant was quite empty, despite being a saturday.
I went to Thai Square in Covent Garden for my birthday on a Saturday night. Everybody enjoyed their food and the portions were pretty decent. The cocktails were also very exotic and the prices were reasonable considering it is in Central London.
Food was good but very generic flavours. Although the restaurant was not that busy, service was slow. Fair value.
Thai Square Covent Garden delivered - we tried the vegetarian mixed starters which were good, though not over generous or creative. Followed with Tofu stir fried with Cashews and garlic - again good but not overly creative however the Lamb Mussaman was excellent as was the crianza we drank with it!
had a great time
Thai food is one of my favourite. Thai Square is a decent place to go to as long as you don't mind chain restaurants.
great food and service, a bit of a canteen feel to the place but fine for a quick bite.
Amazing food.. Good value for money.. Thai Green Curry and Mango Sorbet are much recommended!
