Thai Square Islington attracts local residents and businesses alike. With its flawless service, thoughtfully curated and excellent restaurant deals, it’s one of London’s best Thai restaurants and a staple on the Upper Street restaurant scene. The restaurant provides an excellent early bird menu, lunch set menu, and a happy hour special on cocktails, which we believe is one of the best restaurant deals in London.

Returned to Thai Square in Islington after a big break. Pleased to say it still delivers excellent food and service. Highly recommend the scallop starter.
Thai Square on Upper Street was extremely busy when we dined there on a recent Saturday evening and initially the service was slow, confused and, in all honesty, quite poor. We waited around 20 minutes for our drinks, only for our waiter to come back and admit that he'd 'lost' our order. After that initial hiccup, however, the service improved and our starters arrived very quickly. The food was decent - good value too - but there are definitely better thai restaurants in the capital.
As always, we had a nice meal at Thai Square last night. Thai Square rarely disappoints! The only thing was that the service was without a smile. I know they were busy, but the friendliness of staff always make the experience more pleasant and this is something that they should perhaps address. All in all, a good address and we will certainly go back.
Perfectly reasonable venue for a sensibly priced Thai meal. It's not going to change your life but it's pleasant, friendly and comfortable. Enjoyed myself. Will go back under the right circumstances.
we arrived late at Thai Square due to the underground. We were unable to phone ahead so when we arrived we were met with rudness by the staff. We were rushed into ordering even though our table wasn't ready. When we ordered a course and asked for more we were told that we could only order one more due to the kitchen closing. Shame as the food is great and having been here before it was great then. Will try again though as usually value for money.
With a couple of mates we had a great time. We went for the £25 Gold set menu each and shared all the dishes - there was LOADS of food, all very nice. Service was fairly attentive, they were very busy. Every table was full and there was a queue out the door...
Food was ok but not great. Service fine. Reasonable value for money
The Islington Thai Square isn't the prettiest restaurant ever, but it's a good value and laid-back member of the London chain. The food is very tasty, and best experienced as part of a good size group when you order a range of dishes and try everything. The one black mark is for service: on this visit, there were ten-minute gaps between dishes in the same course arriving, and there was always a waiter when you didn't want one, and never when you did - but having been before, this isn't typical.
For good Thai food i will allways recommend Thai Square. service an be a bit slow but otherwise makes up for it in the food.
