Yet again another fantastic evening with great food.
I dined at "Thai Square - Islington" last night . The food there is fantastic, the service attentive but not over the top and the atmosphere lively but not overpowering. I would recomend a dinner here to anyone who likes thai.
The Thai Square in Islington was a very nice setting for an informal business lunch. The food was tasty, witht the Thai curry being particularly good, and the flavoursome Argentinian white wine we had complimented the spicy food very well. The service was attentive and cheery.
Good food and pleasant atmosphere for lunch with friends
We've been here a couple of times and have been impressed. The mixed starters were very good and the mains have been superb. The aromatic duck in pancake was a little tightly rolled and on the dry side, but the hoi sin dipping sauce made it a nice combination. The "weeping tiger" sirloin strips and the lamb mains were excellent, and nicely complemented by the sticky rice, with the spicy sauces provided separately so you can take as much or as little as you like. We'll happily return again.
The Thai Square, Islington. A good atmosphere, and beautifully set out. The food was nice but not amazing. I had a green curry and would have hoped for more vegetables in it ideally. We still had a good night out and the staff were helpful and friendly.
I am a returning customer to Thai Square (Islington) - the food is great and the service quick even though it's normally quite busy. Great selection for vegetarians. The bar downstairs is lovely too.
Very friendly staff and great food. Not more you can ask for. Some members of our party arrived late and the staff were very welcoming and helpful to ensure we all ate together. The decor was excellent and clean. Recommended.
Usually a good place to go for Thai. This time we had a duff table tucked away in a corner under the air conditioning. Unlucky! Also the Drunken Duck and Disco Duck was a bit chewy.
