Thai Square always provides nice food, although tables are very close together and is very noisy. Also quite expensive. I've been before and the food was exception, this time was just ok.
Forgot to mention I was with Toptable. Thai sq is a reliable restaurant, the food is pretty rich and occasionally greasy, but just the right level of spiciness and kick - and with such a great cuisine as Thai, you can't really go wrong can you?! Usually good service, but our waiter was a tad surly.

Not as good as it used to be! They've crammed too many tables in, the service was impersonal and rushed, and the food was fine but Thai Square now does bog-standard Thai food rather than something special.

Thai Square in Angel, Islington - the restaurant was packed for a Wednesday night. Food was excellent. Thai dumplings to start were delicious and the Thai red beef curry was spicy but not overpowering. Service was a little slow, but only as the restaurant was so busy. Good value for money and nice location.
A very enjoyable dinner and will definitely go again. Good service, great food, good value and elegant simple decor.
Thai Square - Islington. I have dined here a few times and each time the service is 2nd to none, the food is of good quality and there is nto much of a wait. You do not feel rushed and the staff are very helpful. I would definately reccommend this restaurant to anyone.
Once a great place to enjoy good value, tasty and varied Thai cuisine this was a favourite of ours......sadly no longer. The ambience is still good but the menu has changed for the worse, the service was poor and the food quality has deteriorated. For example the once legendary mixed starter has halved in size and variety and the green curry was very greasy. This venue has significance for us but the good memories are now slightly tainted.
