My father and I arrived an hour early for our lunch, we were graciously shown to our table without comment. The soup was pleasant, not the best I have had. The main courses however were all delicious, stir fried prawns, Sea Bass in ginger, and spinach in garlic and ginger, all absolutely top notch. Service was excellent.
The Thai Sqaure had very friendly staff, we weren't rushed and the food was enjoyable. It had a nice atmosphere with enough people to feel busy but not over crowded.
We enjoyed a meal at the Thai Square in Islington. Although food was fresh, flavoursome and the service prompt, the venue lacked that " X factor" which so often turns a good night out into a great night out... the restaurant atmoshere was a little flat.... Maybe we picked a quiet evening (we dined on a Wednesday)?
very rushed but food was good. we were booked in quite late and feel they rushe dus out. while starting to eat the main meal, the waitress asked us if we wanted any dessert or coffees as the kitchen was closing!
Had agreat Meal at the Thai Square- Isligton went there for a family birthday. The food was good and the had a great Austrailian Shraz Wine. would recommend this Restaurant to lovers of Thai food.
Food was excellent, service first class even though it was a very busy Friday evening. Took our last bottle of wine downstairs to the bar and relaxed after our meal. Bar area could be a bit better.
I was delighted to find that the food at Thai Square was as good I had thought it was on my first visit! Fragrant, fresh and subtly flavoured. What more could one want!
Thia Square can always be relied on for good quality food
After walking past the front door of the Islington branch of Thai Square almost twice a week, for several years, I finally ventured inside and was pleasantly surprised. Authentic decor, friendly (if a little rushed) service and excellent value for money. As for the food itself, not bad at all. An extensive menu with a huge vegetarian section, and a small, but perfectly formed wine list. I'll be back...
