I went with my girl friends for dinner on a Friday night. The decor is amazing and the views of the river are stunning. The food was pretty average to be honest, I expected more. Thai food is meant to ooze with flavour and for me this food did not. It was okay, pretty bland and we did order a selection of dishes. This may be to cater for the taste of the majority. This chain is pretty consistent for a good variety and execution of thai food. The service can be a bit patchy and slow but the view on a lovely summer evening over the Thames meant that we were not in a hurry. Very nice evening
Enjoy the view, food good, but expensive
We booked a confirmed via Top Table family celebration for my daughter's 21st birthday. However when we arrived at 7pm there was no record of the booking. Fortunately they had space for 7 people! Otherwise this could have been a disaster. Not sure where the error in the booking rests. The restaurant was fine, food was reasonable apart from the sticky rice which was hard in places. Service was prompt and efficient and ambience great.
The food at Thai square is consistently good and the location of the putney restaurant is lovely - especially on the side overlooking the river. However - the service can be a bit slow and inconsistent which is a bit annoying. Overall a nice evening though
It's been a couple of years since I last visited Thai Square, and on this visit, I will be back much sooner! The quality of the food was excellent, great ambience and of course stunning view over the Thames. I enjoyed a great chicken satay to start and then a succulent lamb main course, sharing a pad thai. Stuffed to the gills!
Good food, decent portions. Get there early evening for a river view! We enjoyed our dinner at Thai Square and we'll be back. They also do takeaway & delivery!
Good food, service and a view that is second to none. Great night all round.
