We went for a special birthday - the restaurant got really busy so we were a bit neglected. Food was ok but not top dollar and was expensive for what we had. Nevertheless we think our birthday guest enjoyed herself.
The Thai Square at Putney Bridge has great food and a fabulous position right on the river. Even on a busy Saturday night, the restaurant felt busy but not packed. The food is great, although I think its a bit on the pricey side (£79 for 2, two courses, wine and service).
A really good evening overlooking the river- excellent food & service.

Good food overall and liked the selection menu option for £30pp - meant having old thai favourites whilst trying some new ones too. Wine good and great seats by river. Waiting staff were a little to keen to keep our glasses filled up - which was a unwelcome distraction at several points!
Food was fantastic! We were let down as the offer we thought we were getting was lunch time only and not for the evening, this was not clear enough when I booked. However the evening was fabulous, the restaurant is lovely and the view of the river is stunning. Definitely somewhere I would recommend and somewhere I am sure to return to.
Visited Thai Square at Putney on a Sunday lunchtime and found it well worth while. We had the option of the a la carte or buffet, and chose the latter. The range was excellent and was regularly replenished. Staff were helpful in explaining all the dishes and advising what complemented what. Its situation, overlooking the Thames and Putney Bridge is perfect and the roomy modern light interior is a bonus.
Thai Square in Putney was a lovely, if very quiet lunch venue. Really tasty food and good value with the 50% off.
