Reasonable thai food in South Kensington. However definitely felt very rushed by the staff to finish out meal.
Was disappointed after reading some pretty positive reviews on Open Table. Staff were not warm and wecoming, food was very average eg. Pad Thai was very poor, tables much too small to accomodate dishes and crammed together too close, and all in all not value for money! I guess you are paying for location but won't do so again!
Nothing special and over priced for what you get. Seabass came so quickly it could have been from the next table. Never in favour of service being added to the bill prior to paying. It's in south kensington in a prime location so simply can be as it is because will always get a steady stream of tourists
Nice atmosphere and food is lovely,.but portion of chicken in curries is very small! Don't bother with the desserts.
Our booking was accepted for 10:30 only to find out the kitchen closed at 10:30!! So the waiting staff decided to bring all the courses to the table at once including fried-once-too-often starters, a main course of one plate of beef beautfully cooked and another that was nothing more than a plate of gristle. To compond matters three other groups came in so they decided to keep the restaurant open after all and those patrons weren't rushed through their meal. Went there for a lunch after having visited a number of Thai Square restaurants in different locations. It is safe to say I was not impressed at all. The restaurant is very small with the tables crammed into a small space. The food and service are average. I am not sure I would visit this specifc restuarant again.
Food was poor, service was slow, toilets were disgusting and the staff were unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend to anybody.
food not the best, other thai squares have been much better.
Thai square in South Kensington is VERY cramped! The food was variable - very good flavours in the chicken mussaman curry, but the potatoes in the curry looked like they had come out of a tin. Duck with tamarind was unremarkable. Staff were not overly friendly, but efficient. Definitely not an "event" night out.
