Thai Square on the Strand, London. Great food, quick service, let us stay long after we'd finished eating... Would definitely recommed it!
We went to Thai Square, Aldwych for a team meal and thoroughly enjoyed the evening; the food was plentiful & flavoursome with a varied menu & a relaxed atmosphere. Only niggle was that we had trouble catching staff for drinks orders and coats at the end of the evening but I know that is unusual & put it down to being short staffed on that particular evening. They didn't keep us waiting for the food!
Great pre theatre dining
Thai Sqaure, 148 Strand.London is a pretty good post theatre option. The food is reasonably good but I'm not sure it was freshly prepared to be honest just put together. I would not recommend the combination offers available at some sites because the restaurant gives you 15% off on presentation of your theatre tickets anyway- see the website. This gives you more choice. The staff are lovely and very good. The decor is lovely. I would recommend it.
Plain but pleasant surroundings. Food not bad either and friendly service. Good variety on the menu and very reasonable prices for an unfussy and relaxed meal.
Thai Square, Strand. Great food. We did the 15% off pre-theatre meal which was good value. A bit more cafe like than I thought from the website but good food made up for it.
Visited the Thai Square on the Strand in London with work colleagues. Was reasonably impressed. Lunch menu had a good selection at a reasonable price, food was very nice, service was friendly and efficient, lovely decor. Only criticism was soft drinks were quite over-priced. However, I'd recommend the place and would go back.
Thai Square is always a safe option. Not the place to go if you are looking to impress someone (especially so the one on the Strand, as it's too narrow and it gets hard to move around) but it's cosy enough, the food is decent and it's reasonably priced.
Don't have a lot to say. Super yummy food, brilliant service with smiles, fairly priced - actually 2 starts, 1 curry, 1 rice, 1 noodle and 1 meat dish, plus drinks, all came to £20 each - cheaper than the set dinner! Definitely will be visiting again!! Can't wait!!
