Pleasant service.Reliable and tasty food. Good value for money.
My partner and I shared the mixed platter to start - most of the items were very tasty however the tempura veg had no flavour. Both of our main dishes were very flavoursome, although very spicy, even though mine was indicated as mild on the menu. The price was reasonable and the service good. Good location for theatres on the Alwych.
I prefer the Thai Square in Angel. Food, service and ambience is alot better there.

Very tasty food, always love the pad see uew. House wine is good too. Toilets let the whole place down though.
We had a very nice and relaxed dinner at Thai Square (Strand) in London. Really enjoyed the food. Good value for money.
Thai Square in the Strand does a great job of pre theatre food. The menu has plentiful options, the pad thai particularly good, and the service smooth as they understand you need to be well away before curtains up. The 15% they offer on production of theatre tickets is a nice touch too. I don't know if I'd want to sta there all night though...
Thai Square was good enough - a great green chicken curry and coconut ice cream, but they didn't offer the deal we went there for, which was a disappointment. The Trafalgar Square branch does a great pre theatre deal, th food and service were definitely a notch up. We had fun but it's no comparison to their sister restaurant further up the Strand
