Thai Square has been a staple on the Strand since 1996. It was the very first Thai Square restaurant to open its doors, so it has an extra special place in our hearts. Conveniently located on the Strand, a major thoroughfare in Central London, our restaurant offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Great location for pre-thetre dinner (near Aldwych). We went on a Monday and it was rather quiet - there wasn't really a need to book. The food was okay, but perhaps a bit pricey as we didn't have any special offers. - but I may be a bit biased as I've just returned from a holiday on Thailand. Decent Thai for London.
Thai Square on the Strand was OK for a pre-theatre meal. The food was good but the ambience is basic. Quite expensive probaly due to convenient location.
Thai Square Strand was excellent, were were slow in making our mind up and they were very patient considering the place was absolutely packed. Food came all together and was hot. Would recommend booking on a Friday.
Bit of a dissapontment after visiting Thai Square at Mansion House. No where near the same experience! But its right on the strand and so i guess standards can afford to be lower. They dont have prawn crackers which i thought was odd-so did the waiting staff who said many people had complained about it but it was the managers decision. Spring rolls obviously from a packet. Curry was good though! Rather go to Mansion House branch. Will not be going back in a hurry.
Thai Square in the Strand we visited prior to the theatre on a thursday evening - we were well received with very good polite service and a delicious meal. Would certainly go again.
Restaurant was too hot, could actually have been in Thailand and felt cooler but it did help that the wine was chilled & delicious. Starters were good (dumplings, wonton & sausage). We had two of the salads with rice for main course and neither were great, duck was overcooked and salad wasn't sliced thinly enough but the flavour was tasty. Service was attentive. Overall the reasonable bill reflected the reasonable meal we had.
Thai Square (The Strand) - great food and value for money but service a little slow and the restaurant was very, very noisy. We could just about have a conversation across the table.
The Thai Square on the Strand wasnt as impressive as the picadilly one, the food was still nice but overall i didnt enjoy the whole experience there as much as the picadilly restaurant.
Thai Square on The Strand was a perfect place to head to before going to our theatre show. We told the staff that we had a show to go to and they served particularly quickly. Really enjoyed the food and great value for money!
