Thai Square has been a staple on the Strand since 1996. It was the very first Thai Square restaurant to open its doors, so it has an extra special place in our hearts. Conveniently located on the Strand, a major thoroughfare in Central London, our restaurant offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Thai Square - The Strand 13 of us attended this restaurant in Cockspur Street 26th June 2007. We were quite a large party and found the table arrangements to be a bit squashed elbow to elbow. The ambiience was good and we were made to feel welcome. The food was varied and the Sea Bass and Chilli lamb were exceptional, for the most part it arrived hot but we did send one dish back as it had gone cold, probably due to there being a larger than average party. We would book again
I used to eat here when I worked in Trafalgar Square and still the ambience and food are excellent. We shared 3 dishes - Red curry, Pad Thai and Gingered pork with rice and they were all delicious. We also had a very good bottle of wine. As usual the restaurant was very busy but still a very nice atmosphere - well done Thai Square for continuing to achieve an excellent level of service and food quality. Will definitely go back and won't leave it 5 years this time!
We had dinner at Thai Square on saturday evening. We ate early (6.30pm) and the restaurant was practically empty. We ordered the set menu - the sharing starter was nice - some bits slightly greasy. I had stir fried chicken and my partner had beef red curry, with sides of noodles, stir fry veg in oyster sauce and steamed rice. All dishes were lovely. There was too much of the sides though - we felt guilty for leaving so much - but we were stuffed to bursting. A lovely meal - would recommend
food was nice and fresh although the place was almost empty. the total bill for 3 with beers came top £85- not a bargain i'm afraid!
The Thai Square is always good value for money. The wine list has some cheaper options and the service is always quick although the staff sometimes have trouble understanding you. The ambience is a bit bright for a lingering meal but if you want quick, reasonable priced food this is the place to go.
Thai Square had nice food
Food at thai square was not bad but service wasnt that good.
Thai Square - The Strand is ideally placed if you want a meal before a visit to the theatre. We went before Dirty dancing and the location was perfect. Nice decor, good quality thai food that was reasonably priced. The food came in very good time too!
Went here for pre-theatre meal but ate from the menu. Food was very nice esp the mixed starter and Beef Panang Curry. One dish was not to my taste not restaurants fault but they asked for feedback and didn't charge me for it which I thought was very nice of them. The service was exceptional better than some so called 4 star restaurants i've been to the staff were attentive without being intrusive
