We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Thai Square, Cockspur St, London. The decor was attractive and service smiling and attentive, We had the Thai Square starter for two, which included delicious fried prawns, crabmeat balls and chicken satay. This was followed by duck in Thai red curry and Thai pad. Having lived for a while in Thailand we were able to vouch for the quality of the cooking and the genuineness of the flavours. We ended with the classic mango and sticky rice.
Great for a business lunch. The set menu for £7.50 was value for money. Deliciou and filling food. Service a touch slow but otherwise a great experience.
Went to Thai Square in Westminster with a friend after work. It is always reliable. We had prawn pad thai, chilli lamb and seabass in coconut sauce, all lovely. I had the mango with sticky rice for dessert which was delicious, really ripe fragrant mango. Good quality thai food at a reasonable price.
Thai Square, Trafalgar Square - Food was excellent. However, disappointing on arrival at 10pm (as booked through the 10pm slot), were told we could only have 1 course, or otherwise 2 courses but would have to be delivered at the same time.... despite the kitchen not closing til 10.45pm... most disappointing. No effort made to accomodate us -
Thai Square is a fabulous find! Located in Trafalgar Square (in London), it is an easy and quick place to grab a meal before a show, after work, or just with friends. The food was really tasty (love the soups, we had two of them and shared both) and the service was fabulous.
As usual great service and fab food. look forward to going back again.
this was a second visit and service and food were excellent, portions large and staff very happy that we only ordered a selection of starters but kindly pointed out that to get the Top Table 30% discount we would need to order a main course and a starter. This is a very elegant high ceilinged restaurant - mauybe it was a bank in previous life - so conducive to talking and listening.
The food was WOW! The service was great, I particularly liked the dresses of the waitresses, I even asked one of them where they had them made. The food (I had seabass) just blew me away! Will most definitely go back there very soon!
Lovely authentic setting and perfect for a special celebration. I went there to celebrate my engagement with a few girlfriends. A tad on the expensive side but definitely worth it if you can get a special offer.
