Relax place we regularly go when we pass through London. Well located near National Gallery and Portrait Gallery. Nice Thai .
We booked the Jade pre-theatre menu which was great value with a selection of starters and choice of mains. Service was quick and food was tasty. Great option.
We went here for a pre-theatre dinner. Excellent location, great atmosphere and a wide range of vegetarian options (essential for my partner). The food is beautifully presented and the portions are sizeable. The only problem: while our starters came in good time, that was it...for another hour. We arrived at 6pm, the show started at 7.30, but by 7pm we still hadn't received our mains and I had to ask the waitress. Went here on Valentine's day. We were offered 2 seating options, decided to go up on the balcony, which has a nice view of the rest of the restaurant and is slightly more private. The assigned waiter was very attentive without being overwhelming. The food was served in a timely fashion which kept a nice tempo to the evening. Overall, a very nice experience and would come again.
Had dinner with some friends visiting London from France - been here before so knew it would be a good choice. The set menu was good - food was a nice selection but every dish arrived tepid at best. The restaurant was busy which is usually a good sign but the overall temperature of the food was a disappointment. Shame.
Lovely meal, service and ambience. They did not make me feel awkward with regards wheat free and catered very well for it

I have visited Thai Square before for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food. However, for dinner I found all the dishes were too sweet... specifically the Green Curry. My lamb cutlets were beyond sweet which wasn't helped by a very sweet salad with a bitter under tone. I will return again but for lunch only. I love the cutlery...
I popped into Thai Square for a quick, pre-theatre meal and ended up having an excellent meal at a restaurant that I will 100% return to! We did not have the pre-theatre menu (for no other reason apart from that we did not want 3 courses) but the food that we did have was very authentic and delicious, particularly the starter with the caramalised prawns and squid with the chili jam.
