Our table was ready on Saturday at 5.30pm as booked and the staff were helpful and attentive from the moment we arrived. We were given the Top Table 'special offer' set menu which had a couple of platter choices to start & several options for main course. Everything was nicely presented, hot, ample portions and very tasty. The restaurant was busy and the pace of the meal was relaxed although the staff responded well when we asked for dessert to be served quickly as we were off to the theatre. A most enjoyable experience and ... read more
The Toptable deal is a good option if dining in the Trafalgar Sq area. While short, the menu offers enough standard choices to satisfy the mainstream diner. Food is of decent quality, starters well presented while the main courses were a generous portion size. Only ice cream as a dessert choice is disappointing if you are not a fan of ices or coconut. I would go again.
We booked the special offer 3 courses for £18.50. The main courses were very substantial and tasty and the coconut ice cream for dessert was the perfect way to round off the meal. Service was outstanding and the surroundings are lovely. Really great place that we enjoy returning to as often as possible.
The Toptable menu for 2 was presented as a separate menu fom the standard a la carte. There was plenty of choice an we had the mixed starter platter for two followed by sweet and our prawns (very delicious) and beef with basil leaves (very very hot - they were not kidding about the 3 chillies sign next to the item on the menu). The coconut ice cream with mango sauce nicely calmed the taste buds. Service was very good. Overall it was great value and we will definitely go there again.
As an after theatre venue the location is great, but the selected post-theatre fixed price menu was indifferent, some of the most bland and least enticing Thai food I have ever enjoyed in London. Most tables were empty too - feels like we are not the only customers to vote with their palettes.
Great as always. Will be back again soon.
I booked this restaurant for my wife's birthday date. From the point I booked the experience was professional and smooth. I called the restaurant to confirm the arrangements and the staff were very helpful. Throughout the night the staff were very helpful and always at hand for prompt service. The food here was amazing and portions very decently sized. We had enough food left over from our meals for lunch the next day. Very happy and will definitely be returning again.
First time visit to this Thai restaurant over the weekend and had a great time. Really can't think of anything that I would complain about, the food was great, the service was spot on, and I was surprised by my bill at the end of the night. I'll certainly be back there again.
I would recommend to take your business partners here when you are on expense and want good service. Unfortunately, the taste of their food is all too extreme for me and my friend. Too sweet, too chili, too salty... No subtle-ness, so we could not taste the ingredients but just thick and heavy, overly seasoned things. Shame, when I wanted to taste fish, chicken, vegetables but only tasted tamarind, sugar, chili and salt. They should provide coat hanging as well as space to place handbags. Currently no space, so you have to e... read more
