I got a bit worried when we were escorted to our seats and the "toptable set menu" was on display for everyone to see and then told we had a 2 hour turnaround on the table - which we knew, but just really makes you feel like a 2nd rate citizen. As we had young children in our group, neither was a problem. The set menu is limited. There are of course, no staring dishes, just your usual favourites. As touristy spots go Trafalgar sq has quite a few good eateries and Thai sq is certainly amongst them. Eating of the toptable deal made it an affordable experience with good quality food. Not by a long way the best I have eaten but in such nice surroundings and with a table in the window it was an enjoyable one. Good mixed starters and thia green curry with a spicy stir fried beef and cooling ice cream to follow. We will be back
Make sure you get a table in the front part of the restaurant as the rear has a very low ceiling and feels quite different. The food was good, on the edge of pretty good. Only on reflection did we work out the TT deal wasn't that good in the context of the average Thai restaurant pricing. So overall, enjoyed it, if not blown away either by the experience or the value.
We had a lovely dinner there. The only downside was that we were allocated a table right by the front door so we asked to be moved and was moved upstairs which was very quiet though. Food was lovely and service was excellent though. Great location too as after dinner we could wander round Trafalgar Square and on towards the river.
The food was cooked to perfection and a lot of choices in the deal we opted for! Atmosphere was brill despite horrible weather and service was quick and friendly! Definitely recommend and will be visiting again!

I love Thai Square - there is a great choice of food for vegetarians and so often find myself at one of their branches. The Trafalgar Square branch is in a fabulous building and is suitable for a more special occasion than some of the other branches. Well done, Thai Square!

I've been to this restaurant several times, but this was my first as a Toptable set menu customer and was made to feel like a second class citizen. Even to the point of being dissuaded to order a second bottle of wine at 8.25pm as they were worried that we would not leave at 9pm. We ended up leaving at 8.30pm.
