We chose the Thai Square Trafalgar because it is centrally located for theatres and we wanted to eat before we went to see a show. It is a lovely airy restaurant and the pre theatre menu, although a little limited was reasonably priced. The service was good and they were aware that we needed to be away promptly. The mixed starters were interesting and the Thai green curry delicious. A good find, conveniently situated and we were pleased.

Enjoyed a pleasant evening with friends in Thai Square, Trafalgar Square. Thai Square always delivers on good quality thai food and is exceptional value with the 40% off toptable deal. A good choice for a meal pre or post theatre while in the area.

This was my third visit. The old Norwegian Embassy - it's a very elegant setting and great if you are going to the National gallery! We chose the mixed platter of starters for two which was hot and fresh but not inspiring. The prawns and scallops with coconut rice were really tasty, the pak choi was delicious, and the lamb massaman (lamb shank) also very good. Fortunately I checked the bill to discover I had been charged for cod in black bean sauce (extra £10.85), which was quickly refunded. Careless since they were't busy.

We were pleased with our dinner - you never know with a set menu whether the food will taste like it was made in a cafeteria. The Peking duck appetizer was delicious, and the portions were generous, but not so overwhelming that we couldn't finish. Service was attentive and pleasant for such a busy evening, and the restaurant honoured my request for a window table (made through toptable). So all in all a great dinner for a reasonable price (50 each) in a wonderfully central location at Trafalgar Square.

Conveniently located near Trafalagar square, we chose this place for a quiet, romantic dinner. It is an upmarket restaurant and food and drinks aren't cheap, but worth the money. The staff paid constant attention and all 3 courses were excellent. Dessert was superb, and there were some quite ingenious and innovative varieties.

Sorry, but this was not a good meal. In the past we have always had excellent food!! Tough meat in all dishes and generally not as tasty as it sould be. Also very few people in the restaurant so very little atmosphere - it was saturday and this is highly unusual. It has always been packed in the past! What has happened - has it been taken over. Sadly will not be back!
