1. Staff are friendly. Like most communities there is staff turnover on occasion. 2. I live 3 minutes away from my mom at The Ashford. If I see something or my mom has a concern, I let the Director know. She wants to know as she said they can only improve with feedback. 3. My mom's apartment is very nice and spacious. 4. The menu and food has improved over the time she's lived there. 1 year as of [removed date]. 5. Variety of activities and outings offered.
The Ashford has friendly residents and outgoing staff. Management spends time in the lobby at dinner time, chatting with residents by name. Aids and nurses are walkie-talkie dispatched and do their best to keep up with resident needs. It is important to note that the Ashford hires their own nurses and aides, and does not use temporary workers from an agency. This helps residents build relationships with staff. Very nice people. A lot of turnover with staff so you're seeing a lot of different faces. There is also no Nurse onsite overnight, which we didn't know initially.
We were attracted primarily by the location, the flat rate pricing structure, and the impression we had after touring. I have recommended to others. Ashford was filled with staff and residents that quickly became friends.
For the most part it's been good.
Response is extremely slow. Clean. Food is ok. Not a super comfortable environment. But very nice and knowledgeable staff.
I'd say it was an overall good experience. He never ate in the dining room, and didn't participate in any activities.
They expect all people to have computers and printers when this is not the case. I struggled to set up paying my bills. After many correspondences I finally accomplished getting my bills paid. I was concerned about my credit score. I don’t like being late or confused.
We'd recommend Ashford. Our selection was based on the high ratings we found, on the convenient location, and the simplicity of their pricing structure.When we visited, we were impressed with the cleanliness and arrangement of the suites. Food quality was also a factor, and Ashford seem to excel in this area.
