The staff knows what they are doing and knows how to care for the elderly. They have activities going during the afternoons that get everyone involved. I chose this for my mother because it has the homey feeling and it is only one level so there are no steps or elevators. My mother says the cooking is like home. The staffs know everyones names and greet you by name basis.

Brennity might not suit you! Cottage can be nice, but my experience has not. The cottage was not painted as promised and the selling agent for Brennity lied about it. So my house has nail holes, wall that are damaged and the house next to mine is a ghetto. Selling agent avoided talking about it! Horrible condition and management knows and does nothing about it as it continues to deteriorate. I have fallen twice...once in a hole in my back yard. We had our parents there for over 3 years with the last year costing over $108,000. We had to move them to a higher level care in January 2019. The Brennity agreed to stop charging as we turned the rooms in January. They continued to auto debit out of their accounts in February. They agreed to refund February for both our parents and never did. On top of it never returned even one phone call, then mom passed in February and this overcharge issue is still not resolved. My mother is a resident. I am so pleased with everything and everyone I have met. There is a smile on everyones face. Always a pleasant acknowledgement. Asking my mother if there is anything she needs. Escorting residents to the dining room and then back. Hobo Jim was such a joy to see the people moving in there chairs and even a couple dancing. I am not local so I don't get the chance to visit my dad as often as my mom does so most of my comunications is feed back from her, she is also responsible for paying the bills. When we admitted my dad in July there was a 10% discount offered to vets that we were able to take advantage of making his monthly fee $4455. After the first month his monthly fee went up to just over $5000 because they said that his incontence justified an extra charge, so much for that 10% discount.
