Great dinner last night at the Gaslamp… beautiful ambiance, dried age meat is on display… service was on point… overall a very enjoyable experience!
The staff were lovely and made an attempt to rectify my meal complaint. What I ordered off the menu was not what was given. I ordered a steak, as you do, but it came already sliced up and covered with a gravy. Who does that to a steak? If I knew it came like that, I would not have ordered. Anyway lots was done to apologize & hopefully the manager will remove from the menu.
My food was delicious and the staff were great. I plan to visit the restaurant again.
The dry-aged tomahawk ribeye with truffle mashed potatoes is the best money I’ve ever spent at a steakhouse. It’s so good, that I keep coming back each year just to have it.
Butcher's Cut was quite a treat. Not busy. Cool display of beef ageing next to us. Service was great.
First the Tomahawk steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus was perfectly prepared and delicious. The service was excellent and both the wine selections and after dinner drinks were great. Was busy but never felt crowded. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
service was great and attentive. overall a nice night out. I was disappointed with the ribeye as it tasted a bit “old” I usually enjoy dry aged steaks, but not this one.
Excellent meal! We had the $95 Date Night Special: Two salads, Tomahawk steak, potatoes and asparagus to share. Yummy choc mousse pie dessert to share. Delicious and a bargain!!
The Couples Night option was fantastic. Service was a bit slow, but very friendly. We did the tomahawk steak option and it was just incredible. Highly recommend!!
