My best advice is for family to stay in contact with your loved one and have a good rapport with staff. The building is fairly new, maybe 2 1/2 yrs. Old so it looks on first impression pretty clean. My dad has been there almost 6mths. and in my opinion they need to clean better. The elevator needs the carpet cleaned and the carpet in the 2nd floor needs vacuuming. I don't think they really clean the room. Looks more like they empty the trash and make the bed and maybe clean up dishes in the sink if there are any. Toilet, sin... read more

Canopy at Walden Woods was brand spanking new. The people were very nice and pleasant, and the lady who showed us around really took her time with us.

I thought Canopy at Walden Woods was a very good facility. It was brand new. We would have considered them for our loved one, except the location wasn’t convenient for us.

Horrible place!!!! Memory Care is what I’m writing this review on! Our mom was placed here November and we pulled her out end of May…way too long!!! Food is HORRIBLE! Staff is lazy and as long as you don’t mind your loved one eating in a dining room with dirty depends lying on the floor I would recommend you look elsewhere! Christmas morning she ended up with a broken wrist and no one knows HOW…WiFi is horrible…just DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!

Night shift coverages need improved and meds given on time within that shift as well.

“Fine cuisine” is advertised with a “restaurant style menu”. It is not… it is take it or leave it with average food at best. Cleaning staff is spotty and does an occasional good cleaning. Not “upscale”, just newer than its competitors. Additional charges are added at a generous rate.

virtually everyone was competent and professional, the facility was beautiful and clean, the food was extraordinarily good for a facility, they had multiple activities every day... They also have polished marble floors in the bathroom... even in memory care. In addition, there were no covers or precautions to prevent residents from turning the water on by themselves. After a month of improvement and doing well, my husband fell 4 times in 9 days. His last fall, he never recovered from, and after a hospital stay that required ... read more

She pulled the fire alarm and tried to escape and the Canopy did have her taken to the hospital to get her settled down. Which I think was fine. They did not Baker Act her. The place she was at before did baker act her 2 times for misbehavior. They also refused to take her back. Made it very difficult to find a place that would accept her because of the "baker act" labeling. So people need to know in advance that they do not Baker act your loved one. I asked Canopy up front if they do that. They said absolutely not. "We may ... read more

Tremendous turnover, staff is a speedy revolving door. Food is pretty bad, sometimes (no kidding) a hot dog on a piece of white bread. Not the "chef inspired cuisine" in their sales pitch. No RN on staff. They don't respond to calls for help from neck worn transmitter. Executive director is as useless as a box of rocks. Housekeeping is hit or miss, went a month without any housekeeping front the canopy staff in early 2023, high turnover of all staff. They are on their fifth (useless) executive director in two years (no kiddi... read more
