First time here and it was excellent! Large portions of very well prepared "basic" Italian - pasta, sausage, meatballs, lasagne, etc. Nothing fancy but extremely well prepared. About the best restaurant lasagna I've had, great sauce ("gravy"), and the calamari appetizer was as tender and fresh as can be. Really a bargain IMO. We were staying next door at the Hampton Inn, and asked at the front desk how Chateau was, and she said "ok but there are 2 other Italian restaurants with higher ratings". The bread is always fresh and delicious to start. My favorites are the eggplant parmigiana, Italian trio and the Greek salad. Love the pasta sauce!
Have eaten here before for lunch. Had dinner this time. Good food and good selection, reasonably priced, comfortable booths and good, prompt, friendly service. Feels more like a family type restaurant. Nobody there to impress others, just good food and good value. Would recommend if that's what you are looking for.
I've been to the Chateau many times. The food is good and reasonably priced. There are usually plenty of large tables/booths available for big groups. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive.
Chateau Norwood has been our go-to restaurant for many years. They have a large menu that helps make sure there is something on their menu for everyone. Service is friendly and professional. Great place to bring whole family and kids of all ages.
Had the haddock was delicious but came out warm, not hot. Server was great!
The chateau remains consistently good..Not gourmet food but good, basic Italian menu, most often wll prepared
Easy to get a reservation and very attentive staff from hostess to waitress. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 for food is that some of it was cold. We sent some back and it still came back luke warm.
