First time we've ever walked out hungry. Server was very polite but seemed overwhelmed. For a short time, we were his only table. Never got our appetizer or meals. Meanwhile, a family of 6 who came 30 minutes after us got their meals. Decided to leave when another waitress trying to help him out came over and asked what we ordered.

Had reservation for 8 with 6 children.. took over an hr to get our food. We know it wasn’t the waiter’s fault, but there was no acknowledgement, updates, nor apologies from management at all. When we got the food, everything was cold and fries were soggy (5 of which were kids meal items so it shouldn’t even have taken so long) Also, please note that the kids meal sides were additional costs (at almost the price of the kids meal itself.) The menu didn’t mention the extra cost, so we were somewhat shocked when the total price ... read more

The reviews on open table were grossly incorrect! will think twice about open table reviews in the future.

My first time in the Norwood restaurant was a bit disappointing. I’ve been many times in Waltham and enjoyed. A meatball sandwich and small salad were ok, but I miss the roll the meatballs used to be served on. Two huge slices of Italian bread surrounded the meat and reduced to Wonder Bread consistency as I held it. It needed much more sauce, which the server brought promptly. Since the bread wouldn’t have held much sauce, it was like au jus roast beef sandwich. Salads were passable. All in all the service was ok (despite th... read more

Wasn’t busy but service was slow. Our server had ZERO personality and never asked if we wanted more drinks. Ordered more and they never came. Food was OK. This place is overrated!

I expect my cooked food to come to the table to be hot! Every bite of food on my plate was barely warm! Really like my food hot. The soup served was spilled all over the plate which had the crackers drenched in it! I am disappointed and wonder if I should go back. I had brought with me 3 friends-guests who had never been to the ‘Chateau’and I didn’t feel good about the lukewarm dinners served! Help me to convince me that you can do better in the future. Thank you M. Maldonado

Our server was very friendly, however, we had to keep asking for things that should have been placed on the table. My clam chowder was luke warm and my son's salmon was kind of raw and chilled in the center.

Place has gone way down hill. Used to be good food at good value. Now - poor food at poor value. Portions are very small now too. Used to go all the time. Not anymore.
