They offered cold grocery store slided bread with butter of course. The waiter was very nice. While waiting we saw a mouse under one of the tables. We left telling that to the receptionist. She just apologised, not surprised maybe, and that’s it.
Although we had a great server, the food quality was not good. The soup was on cold side. The entrées are also cold and kind of a mishmash of Italian food. They need better quality control. Someone’s not keeping their eye on the prize.

Unfortunately the service was not good at all . We waited for the waitress to come over and then we had a party of 10 but she only brought over 5 drinks at first and another ten minutes for the other drinks . The food took so long and one order of fried clams came out after everyone else had already started eating . Two of the fried clam plates were cold .

We’ve been going to Chateau for many years. Entrees were good, broccoli looked and smelled less than fresh (was it frozen?). Service was good (Kristen). Given the prices, we would expect fresh vegetables, which we’d find at similar restaurants with comparable prices.

First time we've ever walked out hungry. Server was very polite but seemed overwhelmed. For a short time, we were his only table. Never got our appetizer or meals. Meanwhile, a family of 6 who came 30 minutes after us got their meals. Decided to leave when another waitress trying to help him out came over and asked what we ordered.
Had reservation for 8 with 6 children.. took over an hr to get our food. We know it wasn’t the waiter’s fault, but there was no acknowledgement, updates, nor apologies from management at all. When we got the food, everything was cold and fries were soggy (5 of which were kids meal items so it shouldn’t even have taken so long) Also, please note that the kids meal sides were additional costs (at almost the price of the kids meal itself.) My first time in the Norwood restaurant was a bit disappointing. I’ve been many times in Waltham and enjoyed. A meatball sandwich and small salad were ok, but I miss the roll the meatballs used to be served on. Two huge slices of Italian bread surrounded the meat and reduced to Wonder Bread consistency as I held it. It needed much more sauce, which the server brought promptly. Wasn’t busy but service was slow. Our server had ZERO personality and never asked if we wanted more drinks. Ordered more and they never came. Food was OK. This place is overrated!
