Overall a decent meal but of course you expect more from a place like this. Was a bit underwhelmed although everything was good, not great.
We went here for a birthday lunch and truly enjoyed ourselves. The drinks, food, and service were great and I would go back again.

My boyfriend took me here on a date night. I knew the restaurant had previously been Peli Peli but neither of us knew the new concept was also Chef Paul Friedman and that many of the dishes were South African inspired. My boyfriend who is also South African was delighted with many of the options. I went with a group of friends and this place blew my mind ! ! The menu was exotic. The flavor of the food excellent ! And the atmosphere and wait staff was so personable. The chef came out and introduced himself. I will definitely return!
