Enjoyable stay in Chicago and Congress Plaza was a good place to stay downtown. The room seemed a little worn especially the carpet and the halls needed update. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was fine but towels were just barely adequate. There were not enough bed pillows...need more than 2 for king bed. We liked the location, value, and the family suite was ideal for our family...grandparents and daughter's family of 4. We walked, rode bus or subway to get to our destinations...which worked out well.
Friendly staff who welcomed me each day. Breakfast was not included but it didn’t deter me for future stay. the location was close to my conference
Wonderful
Great location, good value, very old, taken care of. Some updates to rooms needed but not horrible. The parking for 2 days was very expensive but I learned there are other places to park that would be less expensive for my next visit. The hallway on 9th floor was musty smelling along with the closet in our room. TV wouldn't turn on but someone came immediately and reprogrammed the remote. Wonderful
The stay was great for travelers, especially those who want to explore city events. People were smoking in the hotel rooms. I did not have breakfast. The location was great and the room was clean and comfy.

Good They stated there was room service but when we got there they stated you do not get room service unless you stay for more than 2 days. Front desk staff was not nice. Location, the room was nice and clean. Bell man was GREAT!
