It’s a bit pricey for how old the facilities are. It’s honestly quite old and it could use a bit of refreshing on facilities. The location is really the best point.

Exceptional Bathtub area needs attention, had mold and ceramic tub was dirty. You can use liquid bleach to kill the mold, and use a magic eraser sponge tto get ceramic cleaner. Room smelled musty. It would be nice to have a oil diffuser for the room with eucalyptus oil in it. Thank you. We loved the nostalgic look of the hotel. We love Chicago and all tge architecture of tge city. We loved the room service. And all the friendly staff. Thank you so much
Affordable gem. We would book it again! Nothing, all good. Awesome. It’s a beautiful and historic building. We got a family suite for our crew of five. It was plenty of room and it was perfect for our overnight stay, before a long flight. The staff was very helpful and responsive.

50/50 No hot water in 1st room but they quickly moved us to another room however that had no hot water when wanted a Saturday evening shower either. No safe in room 1 like stated and room 2 the safe did not work they did offer to have someone come in to fix it. Prompt to handle issues and the staff was great!!!
Exceptional Johnny the Bell Man was an absolute gentleman, organised our trip back to O Hare without a bother. So friendly& talkative. Oliver the Security Guard went above an beyond twice to find a package that i got delivered to the hotel for me. All the staff were so friendly. The hotel is just beautiful, rooms are fabulous. Location is so central. Thank you Congress Plaza Hotel !! We will be back! Mairèad & Jamie ( Ireland)
