it was a really nice place to stay no microwave nice large room with a window.
The Congress Hotel is a landmark. It has a fascinating history, and it's perfectly located. I thought breakfast might be included. Very nice room and beautiful setting. Proximity to everything, public transportation, beautiful Grant Park, the art museum, Buddy Guy's Legends, fine dining.

Great location, great place to use as a home base. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. I wish the cafe and the bar were a little more updated. The decor is straight from the 80's. They had a good selection at the bar though so no big deal. The rooms were a little dated as well, but they were very clean and comfortable so it wasn't a big deal at all.
