The location of the hotel was great and our room was clean so all and all worth the price. The hotel could use some routine maintenance at the very least. There were sections throughout the hotel where wall paper was peeling off the wall, plaster or dry wall crumbles, a bit dingy in areas. Location, close to all the parks, lakeshore trail, restaurants, and a good portion of the museums.

It was good. We stayed 5 nights and turned out to be too long for us. Hotel controls cooling, and if you’re a hot natured person, you should bring a fan. Very warm room if facing the lake Location was great and what was desired. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were good.
Enjoyed with pleasure I know the hotel is very old. On the other hand the rooms could use some much needed updating. Clipped paint on doors need larger TV's. Pics on the walls. Smells but musty in the hallways. The lobby was fabulous. House keeping front desk service was great. Location perfect.

Location was super, the beds were not… The property is very dated, it reminds me of the hotel from the movie The Shining. Beds were about as comfortable as laying on the sidewalk. The little bit of staff we spoke with were very kind. I think there are some definite updates that need to be made. Overall it was just okay. Location to most all great sites and museums are a for sure plus and the reason I picked this hotel.
