Excellent location and a grand, historic room. The bathroom is fine but very small snd in need of renovations. The room could use some more lighting. The location and view were amazing! Loved the feel of staying in a historic hotel. Room was large and very grand. Staff also were very nice.
Great place to stay for Chicago Marathon Issues with original room, Mgr Nicole made it right very quickly.

incredible location but old and musty they need to renovate and update the rooms as they are old damp and musty location is perfect for the Chicago Marathon runners

We were there to run the Chicago Marathon and they stay was great! I honestly cannot think of anything. The staff were excellent and friendly. They went out of their way to be courteous and nice. The room was great and all in all a great stay! We were there for the Chicago Marathon and loved the location!

Terrific Location right on Michigan Avenue and Across the street from Grant Park! The door keys have to be re-done after you arrive back from completing the marathon if it is after 12:00pm. But I already knew that from previous experience because we have stayed there many years for the previous marathons. So I just went to the front desk first before getting to the room to find out it didn't work. The front desk did indicate that many people were having to come to the front desk for new keys since they expired. Perfect accom... read more
