Surprisingly good value for an awesome view of Buckingham Fountain in a quirky historic hotel! Restaurant service was a bit slow and nonchalant (to be fair, it was near closing time). It seems to be "normal" for incoming guests to just wait at an empty front desk (there's no bell... I suppose they have cameras) till someone comes to help. A "quiet room" facing Lakeshore Drive would have been an acoustical miracle since cars were loudly racing up and down the lake past midnight-- but I wouldn't have traded rooms for less nois... read more

Perfect hotel, the location is amazing amazing location, rooms were clean and staff very friendly
I would stay again It was somewhat pricey for the size room but that may have been because we stayed the weekend following Memorial Day. Water pressure in the shower was not good. Love the location! It's an older hotel but seems to have been taken care of for the most part. Friendly, helpful staff.
