Just moved to the area, I think we found our "go to" spot!
Service staff was great but the wait time for food was way too long considering that there were fewer than 3 tables occupied at the time. The wait for a single dessert was 20 minutes too!
Beautiful location especially for boaters....service staff was friendly and accommodating. Came for a graduation brunch with ages 10-80 and everyone enjoyed their food.
Food is very good! Service is no where near as good as food. Menu too small. Wine list is horrible! Would go back though for food!
The Cove is located on a site where two other restaurants had tried to make "a go of it" - not all that successfully. So I was a little reluctant to give The Cove a try. My husband and I went for an informal dinner on a Saturday night . The Cove is located on a marina and the outdoor seating is ideal for ambiance. The third iteration at this location looks like a winner. The menu is very good, with fresh seafood and a diverse menu. Had the seafood penne which is excellent. Crab cakes were good with no filler but a bit salty as was the lobster roll. We have been there twice during this soft opening and things have improved each time. The owners are on site and eager to please....given a few more days this should be a great local waterfront seafood restaurant.
The food was delicious; the fried calamari was excellent, and the seafood pasta was very nice. I just wish they had a bigger menu. Our waitress was excellent, very friendly and helpful.
Much improved from former owner/name Boca. Same great location and venue, way better food and service. The thing was they seemed to be short staffed and limited outdoor seating. Even short staffed, the service blew away Boca's. I think once they get settled it will be a complete improvement.
The food was very good and not badly priced
