Overall the experience was good but the restaurant had some glaring service issues. First of all, it was a beautiful setting but if you are going to call yourselves an oyster bar, you need to serve more than one oyster. Also, we were only served 11 oysters (ordered a dozen) and it didn't come with lemon which I think is a rookie mistake. The main courses were good. Amazing sunset dinner on the water with 5 star service. Owners from Cyprus, manager and staff gracious and cordial. Cocktails original and delicious, seafood fresh and seasoned perfectly. Best thing to happen to Nassau County for summer. Hip sleek European vibe with amazing views food and hospitality! Finally a great alternative to Louie's with better food. Will make the trip out again and again from NYC this summer- so worth it !
We very much like this place, especially in the warm weather. It's lovely to sit and watch the boats pulling in & out of the marina. It's nice to eat as a couple or enjoy with friends. The menu has enough choices for all to enjoy. The service is very good, tho it took a little while for our entrees to get to the table. Overall it was a pleasant evening. We plan to come back regularly throughout the summer.

really great food and wine with nice view. Food was delicious, especially oysters and grilled octopus.
The Cove is a gem. Good for a dinner with friends or date night. Great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor bar. Food is delicious food. Great seafood choices. We had a shrimp app. That had so much shrimp we could have made it a meal. We followed that with a thick piece of cod that was cooked to perfection.
Overall it was fine. Expected it to be larger and busier though. We had a wonderful waitress.
Beautiful spot, excellent food, good value and attentive service- went for brunch on a Sunday and it was very quiet . I would like to see it busier. Once the word gets out though, I think people will flock there. I would highly recommend it.
