There are few places that make you feel like you are away on vacation - this is one of them.
A little loud, and service was spotty. Food was good but appetizer was extremely overpriced. Few choices of dessert too.
It took quite a while to get anyone's attention, even though or maybe because we were the only diners seated inside on a warm night. After that though our server was nice enough and satisfactorily attentive. The food was edible but nothing special: the crab cake was not really enhanced by a sprinkling of canned pineapple tidbits, for example, and the salmon in the entree and seafood salad was overcooked and dry. This was our first time at The Cove but it will not be the last. The view was beautiful got there in time for sunset. Our waitress was very attentive and was able to answer any questions about the menu my husband ordered the oysters she recommended tasting a variety and explained each of the 4 options. The food was great and the price extremely reasonable unlike some outdoor dining which charges more just because there is a view. We came for the lobster that was on the menu but they were out
Nothing extremely memorable about this place. Food wasn't bad, but nothing stood out either. Scenery was good, looking out at a marina. Was way out of the way for me, coming from the south shore. Only went there because my blind date suggested it and since I doubt I'll be seeing this person again, it's extremely unlikely I'll go back to this restaurant.
Went to the restaurant over the past weekend and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. It is a place you can either go with just a couple or a group of friends. The view of the water and the marina is relaxing while you drink a cocktail or two along with the delicious seafood appetizers. Wonderful harborside location. Menu items fine, particularly the seafood pasta.
Service was "off" when we were there as they did not anticipate the amount of people they had. They also ran out of a fair amount of menu items. The view is beautiful.
