I loved the ambiance. My wife and I wore matching darks and greens. Dressed to the 9s. She strolls while I saunter in. Everything just sort of pops and meshes with our style of the day. We went during the brunch menu, so naturally I order an old fashioned. It was either that or get wild n nasty with some shots. Oh daddy likes to pound them back. We went out to eat for an early Valentine's Day dinner and we had a great time at the Fountain Room. We both got steaks and they were perfectly cooked. We also shared the whipped potatoes that were extremely good. We also got the grasshopper pie which was one of the best desserts I've had. We also had a few drinks that were good as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Fountain Room.
The Brie brûlée 🙌🏻🤤🤤🤤 also got a filet with horseradish crust and it was phenomenal
Food was not very flavorful. We got a ribeye and the prime rib, plus Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes for sides. Mashed potatoes were great but everything else was plain. For the cost of everything it was a shame the food wasn’t better.
We arrived 40 minutes before our reservation time, and they were able to seat us right away. ✅ I ordered the petit filet, Brussels sprouts, and mashed potatoes. My food was excellent! (My Overall Rating: 9/10) ✅ My husband ordered the French dip sandwich with fries. They were running behind so encouraged us to get a drink at the bar while we waited. It didn’t take long, the bartender was attentive and the drinks were good. We were seated upstairs which was a bit crowded and felt like the overflow area. It took quite a while to order an appetizer. They were out of the piggies, so we ordered the Brie Brûlée. Evan B was a great server! Very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to the table. The food was great for the value, I was not a fan on the button mushroom casserole side dish, but the meatloaf was sooooo good!
