We celebrated our anniversary at the Fountain Room. Great atmosphere and service. We were greeted and wished a happy anniversary by every employee that stopped by our table. The food was good, but not outstanding. My husband wasn’t overly impressed with his New York Strip which is a shame considering it’s a $60 steak. Great atmosphere, no doubt! But, it must need work on getting food out in a timely manner. It took 2hrs for dinner without dessert. Eventually, we requested for Togo box for our desserts before being served! No apologies for delaying.

We thought we would try The Fountain Room during Devour. A very beautiful interior indeed. The food was good. My wife enjoyed her salmon. The biggest issue we had was how obnoxiously loud the music was playing. We could barely hear one another speak. It appears that the classic audio equipment is part of the visual presentation of the restaurant but the volume really detracted from the dining experience. Perhaps we will try the restaurant again sometime.

Amazing experience! Stopped in for the Devour Indy Special and chatted with Jason, very knowledgeable bartender who was awesome! Got the Lions tail cocktail with all spice dram. Lobster bisque was amazing. They got my steak cooked perfectly! Get the grasshopper pie and enjoy this throwback restaurant :)))
