So much character and great ambiance. Food is top notch. Server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. All round great place.

We were so looking forward to our dinner at the Fountain Room. I had looked at the menu, and there were several things we wanted to try. We ordered appetizers, salads, and dinners, plus different cocktails to try. Overall, we were just underwhelmed! Our server was ok. Nothing to write home about. We aren't picky, but we do like good-flavorful food. So to say we would go back, would be probably not.

I celebrated my birthday at The Fountain Room, dining with a party of six. While the food was enjoyable and met our expectations, I wanted to share some feedback regarding our service experience. Our server was cordial; however, his approach felt somewhat pushy with suggestions, giving us the impression that there was an intent to increase our bill, especially in light of the expected gratuity. I wish I could remember our server's name. She was outstanding. Both polite and expedient. Her food recommendations were on point and we had a delicious meal. We visit Indy often and will be back.
