I celebrated my birthday at The Fountain Room, dining with a party of six. While the food was enjoyable and met our expectations, I wanted to share some feedback regarding our service experience. Our server was cordial; however, his approach felt somewhat pushy with suggestions, giving us the impression that there was an intent to increase our bill, especially in light of the expected gratuity. I wish I could remember our server's name. She was outstanding. Both polite and expedient. Her food recommendations were on point and we had a delicious meal. We visit Indy often and will be back.

The perfection that was my wife’s prime rib beef sandwich made everything else seem like less but the food was an A before she let me take a bite and steal 3 more. The truffle fries were also perfection as a side. The drinks were good, not spectacular, but I didn’t care. The only disappointment was that our server had to tell us that the appetizer we were interested in would take longer than usual, but I was glad that we were told rather than just left to wait an extended amount of time for nothing….
