This is a great restaurant in the heart of Indy. Our experience was lovely. The reason I gave 4 stars: a steak was ordered to be cooked medium, but came out rare (cold in the center).

The experience at the fountain room was absolutely amazing. Their staff is knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and very personable. Their food is absolutely exquisite and their cocktails and wine selection are very good.

Steak was great. Whipped potatoes were ok. Brussels were decent. Cheesecake fair. Great old-fashioned. Lose the corporate up charge, or you may sour future patronage over a small percentage of expenditure.

Our first visit to The Fountain Room and we were congratulated on our anniversary by the host, and then found a Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff at our table. The server Chelsea was very attentive, offered great suggestions, surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate.
