Save up a little longer and have them finish the door and install it. Also look for coupons before you sign any paperwork. The front door company provides good quality doors for the price. However we were on a budget and for the doors my wife and I wanted were a little more expensive than anticipated. Not a good experience. Frustrating and stressful. The Front Door made custom doors for an interior room in our house. Initially they were very responsive and helpful. As I recall they took at least 2 months longer than expected promise date. I had to keep calling and calling and each time there was a different person that was helping me so therefore I had to explain everything over again. My experience with their sales representative was great. It was easy to work with them. The installer came out and did a good job. Everything fit really nicely. I was only concerned about my back doors because the old sliding glass door was of different size from the new item. I just wish he probably had put the insulation before the final installation. A part of his work was to insulate the rest of the doors. I ended up doing from the inside. That was the only thing that I hoped that he had completed. I bought a front door ... read more
poorly, the grates were not delivered when the door was, and when the second one came one month later after repeated calls, it did not fit. The company took no responsibility for the problems, and we had others correct their work. built a front door and side light with grates

DUE TO A NEW MANUFACTURER THAT WE USED THE IRON GRILLS WERE MADE INCORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME. THE MEMBER WAS CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY BY OUR SALE REPRESENTATIVE TO LET HER KNOW ABOUT THE ISSUE. THE MEMBER UNDERSTOOD AND WE SUPPLIED THE UNIT WITHOUT THE IRON GRILLS FOR THE SIDES. THE REASON THE SECOND GRILL DID NOT FIT WAS DUE TO THE INSTALLATION BY THE MEMBER’S INSTALLER. The workman arrived on time, removed the door, sanded it, put the first coat of stain on the door, then re-hung the door to allow drying time. Returned the next two days, on time again, and finished the job. Good work! Refinished wooden front door.
