It took two days for the process. Joe came out looked at the door and explained what I needed and gave me an estimate.He sch eduled me in and I was very pleased with the finished product. Painted front door with a clear coat to prevent the sun from damaging wood. Explained the process and was satisfied with the procedure.
In the showroom, the salesperson helped me choose and customize a door design. I was a little unsure about purchasing something without knowing what the final product would look like. She allowed me to go into the back workshop and see projects that were being built and some that were finished, easing my anxiety. We also discussed the payment options, its always great when there are options, had to put half down, but had six weeks to pay off the balance.
This was my first project to work with The Front Door Co. I loved them. Service was amazing, I always got status or courtesy calls and emails. And no matter how many options and design ideas we looked at, they were completely unbothered by our indecisiveness and just kept the dialogue going and providing us with a quote for such work. see above. Our old 1970's stained-glass door had to go. We heard about The Front Door Company through Angie's List and the internet. We visited the store a couple times, and made several phone calls. They were VERY patient and understanding. They realized we were on a budget, and helped steer us toward a beautiful, quality, wood door with iron and glass. They also replaced our door jam EXPERTLY. We just closed on a house and our front door (8' wood) was in pretty bad shape so we called the Front Door to see if they could do anything for us. Joe came out to our home and looked at the door and gave us an estimate to have the work done. He scheduled a day to start the work and was right on time to get started. He took the door off the hinges and worked on it in our front yard and then reinstalled it at the end of the day. It was a great experience from start to finish and I highly recommend them. I would definitely use the Front Door Company again. They came out to see if they could fix our door that had broken lead glass in it, which they could, but we had other problems with the door and decided to replace. They told us that the current door frame was never put in correctly when we built the house, so we decided to fix that at the same time. We really liked their product and the people we dealt with. They did a really good job on the installation. They replaced some doors for us.
I stopped by the Front Door store on a Saturday morning to look at their doors. I'd looked at doors at many other stores in town. The selection was great, and I saw many styles I liked. There were lots of ways to customize the doors--different finishes for the wood and different types of glass that could be used. The job was handled very professionaly and he was very willing to answer any questions I might have for him. I was very pleased with the work and the door looks brand new. My Mahogany front door was weather worn and need to be refinnished I contacted the Front Door Co and they set up an appointment for a refinisher to come to the house and do the door.
