I tell the staff everytime I'm here that they are angels; they're doing a wonderful job with mom and dad. Everytime we go up there, we go at different times of the day, we go and get mother to visit dad and she's dressed nicely and she's clean. i'm so impressed with everybody that we've come in contact with, especially the people in the memory care unit. Very nice, warm commfortable feeling. A fresh perspective, especially in light of our parameters. Mom will visit next week.

I wouldn't recommend the community to anyone, and not to bother viewing the community for anyone that is mobile. The staff want the residents to be calm and not agitated. The Executive Director, [name removed] was very accommodating and pleasant during the tour and signing up was great. We received bad advice from the community about how to get my loved one into the community and leave my loved one. This was a wonderful place for my mom, but with recent change in administration and nursibg I'm not too sure anymore. Everyone is frustrated, angry and upset about losing the biggest asset to this community. I personally brought mom here because of the wellness director and now I don't feel my mom is safe. Staff seem so uptight and no one knows anything anymore. Definitely looking at other places for next month. This is a very nice community and we have been satisfied until today. It's a sad day at the Hamptons to loose one of the only managers who care! Bring our Nurse back. I personally am not comfortable leaving my loved one here. From an unhappy camper.

I recommend that the intake team do a 2 week and 4 week check in with the family and resident. The transition is such a big deal, that after a couple of weeks/a month, when things have settled down, it may be helpful to assess the schedule, the activities, the involvement of the resident etc. Basic care is outstanding. But social engagement needs a boost - the staff is a little too "hands off" in encouraging my father to get involved - and he is lonely. As I walked in for my tour I did not get a good feeling. I asked the residents about the food and they were not excited about it. My feelings about the place was not good and it was not going to work out for my parents.

At The Hampton at Meadows Place the needs my dad had were greater than they provided. We had issues with the staff. They placed him in assisted living and they felt they were having to give him care that they don't normally provide. I explained the issues that he had before moving him here and they said they would be able to work with him, however that turned out not to be the case. The facility itself was nice, I just wish I would have had more information up front as to what all care they provide.
