Overall, they are welcoming, very helpful, and thorough with helping to get set-up. They are very nice people, and accomodating. They could improve on, communication with what they have going on and with the residents. I would recommend to other families.

Seagrass Village provides good care, they try and engage residents in activities. for those with mobility and a willingness to participate, the activities would be a plus. this community is kept very clean with nicely sized and good looking rooms. i would like to see an increase in staffing, as to increase the amount of attendants who are with my loved one at a time.

There is a lot of change and turnover going on with all of the staff members/management, they are short staffed.

We chose Seagrass Village because of the value for the money as well as the location. They also took her in during covid. The staff members here have been a little slow with communication, their emails were going to our junk mail so it was a while until we had a lot of communication from them. Right now they are going through transition, they have had quite a bit of turnover with management and staffing. It has been difficult not being able to go inside the facility, but I think it is fairly nice place and the nurses have be... read more

Our families experience was horrific, not one part of it met the expectations. The quality of care was so poor, when we would come to visit the residents hair looked so greasy it was almost like you could ring it out. We would see people walking around in soiled clothes - if the residents don't want to change or shower the staff just says okay and walks away. There was urine in the hallways that would not be cleaned up. Our loved ones medicine was lost. It was the worst experience. It was their job to evaluate the residents ... read more

Observations included neglect and verbal abuse. Neglect from nursing assistant staff, observed through responses to residents that indicate indifference. Eating utensils were unavailable for residents to utilize during meals, when a resident requested a utensil they were told that "We don't have any", Napkins were often unavailable during meals, when a resident would request a napkin they were simply told "We don't have any". Delayed or no response to resident requests. There are residents living here who would benefit from ... read more

When putting my clients wife into seagrass it was the best thing we've ever done. At first it started off great a lot of care but then it went downhill after that. [name removed] uses the bathroom by herself but the many many times that I've been out to the facility she has been pure wet and it's sad that I have to be the one to tell them to go change her. I believe a urinary tract infection had triggered another stroke and unfortunately we had to place her into the hospital and died 10 days later. I believe with a lot more ... read more

Be Careful! Do Your Homework! Check it Out Thoroughly! The community wasn't able to provide the care that my loved one needed. The staff didn't inform me of my loved one not eating or them falling. We weren't able to get my loved one back to eating after my loved one stopped eating. Hospice was the only one that informed me of this. The community was beautiful. The sales person was wonderful. The activities director seemed to be more than willing to be part of the connection between the family and our family member. She didn... read more
