Since 1986, The Oar has been dedicated to bringing you fresh and delicious seafood. Our staff is accommodating and friendly, and their service is sharp and always pleasing to our customers. We take a lot of pride in satisfying all of our guests. The Oar offers beautiful scenery and provides a fun entertaining atmosphere. Our restaurant has a full indoor and outdoor bar so those beautiful nights don't go to waste. Come down to The Oar real soon, we're sure that you'll have a time to remember!

When we have been to The Oar in the past, everything has been outstanding. This visit did not reach that level. We had a 4:00 reservation. One would think menu availability would not be an issue at that time of day. First, the ingredients for a drink had run out. A dessert offering was also no longer available. When the bill arrived, it included the items requested but unavailable. The server promptly fixed the error, but that shouldn't occur. We will return, and hopefully, these issues will be resolved.
The tuna dishes were absolutely delicious!! Fresh and beautifully plated for the natural foodie.

The food was very good, there is live music, it's a lively crowd and staff was very kind.  Definitely a fun place.

Our server was awesome! Two in our party of four were not that happy with their pot pies. They felt the sauce had an odd flavor. The other two of us had Chilean Sea Bass which was very good. We split a profiterole for dessert and that was delicious. The manager was pleasant and helpful. The room we sat in was chilly as it appears not to be a permanent structure. Also, we had to ask the manager if she could turn down the music as it was difficult to hear each other.
