Since 1986, The Oar has been dedicated to bringing you fresh and delicious seafood. Our staff is accommodating and friendly, and their service is sharp and always pleasing to our customers. We take a lot of pride in satisfying all of our guests. The Oar offers beautiful scenery and provides a fun entertaining atmosphere. The ambiance is lively but there are areas to be seated that are a little less lively. The food was excellent and we were not rushed. We sat at our table for a long time and enjoyed a delicious dessert. Service was a little slow, but it was memorial day weekend and the restaurant was very crowded. Our waiter did the best he could to get us our food in a timely fashion. I would recommend this restaurant for a return visit again and again. 💕

We were lucky to have a beautiful day to enjoy our lunch on the water at The Oar. The food was delicious and our server, Sara, was wonderful. We were not rushed and enjoyed a nice lunch with some delicious drinks. Great food, great service, and great ambiance--what more can you ask for? Can't wait to go back for another waterside lunch at a wonderful restaurant.

When we have been to The Oar in the past, everything has been outstanding. This visit did not reach that level. We had a 4:00 reservation. One would think menu availability would not be an issue at that time of day. First, the ingredients for a drink had run out. A dessert offering was also no longer available. When the bill arrived, it included the items requested but unavailable. The server promptly fixed the error, but that shouldn't occur. We will return, and hopefully, these issues will be resolved.
The tuna dishes were absolutely delicious!! Fresh and beautifully plated for the natural foodie.
