Food was delicious and fresh...may have been the best swordfish I have ever had...salad was fresh and tasty..great experience and will definitely be back..live accoustic music was a pleasant surprise on a Saturday night

First time at The Oar and we were really pleased - the food was excellent (although not cheap). Even though we had some people with us who didn't eat fish, everyone was happy with their meal. I had the prime rib and it was awesome! The live music was great - but don't expect quiet conversation since it was pretty loud on our side of the dining room. I always think of this place as a go to summer location, however I decided to go there Christmas week and was really happy that the specials and drinks were amazing! Very friendly staff and great service! We will be back! SOON!

Never a bad meal place looks great since renovations friendly staff
It was decorated so beautiful and the sun was setting which was a perfect scene...hostess was AMAZING and so accommodating. Other then that I was not happy with the food. I paid a lot for very little and not what I asked for.
First time here. Treated my department to a pre-holiday dinner. The food was exceptional, as was the service and the ambience. I will return with friends as well as a date night with my wife.
